This place is one of those upscale beach restaurants that you'd treat yourself at occasionally. I arrived with 4 other people and we were seated with a nice glimpse of Dee Why Beach. The awesome view reminded me why I loved dining at the beach!
They have this incredible rustic garlic bread, with garlic that has been roasted till it was mushy and aromatic on top - you must try this one. Don't think you can get such unique garlic bread anywhere else!
I had ordered the Surf n Turf (~$40+) - a juicy piece of sirloin steak and a couple prawns + chips. Steak was cooked well and was nice and tender, chips were well seasoned but the the 2 prawns just looked out of place! For the price I was paying, I expected more than 2 prawns. The food, however, was tasty.
The place is quite pricey so I would only visit if it was a special occasion. -

At the end of a fabulous tour of the Northern Beaches I sat down for lunch with my friend here. We sat in the sun on the terrace. The service was a little slow but forgivable since it was a little early for lunch and there weren't many customers. We took some time to admire the view from the restaurant and actually saw dolphins in the ocean. Magical. Luckily, the salad I ordered measured up to that start of the meal.
I ordered the Peri Peri Chicken salad which was amazing! Roasted pepper, avocado, chicken, haloumi, arugula all in a tasty peri peri dressing. It was something new for me. Judging by how my friend ate up her fish and chips the restaurant's other offerings are equally delicious. We ended the meal with lattes in the traditional Aussie fashion. Hope I make it back soon.
